Meetings:

Evening meetings are usually held on the third Wednesday of each month at Wellsprings Chapel, Quantock Road, Taunton. They commence at 7:30pm and conclude at around 9:45pm and there is a break for refreshment and general discussion. There is a charge of £1.50 at each meeting to cover the cost of refreshments and the speaker’s costs.

There are often plants for sale at the meetings - come early to get the best bargains!

There is a Table show most meetings - one Cactus class, one Other Succulent class and one cactus or other succulent plant in flower.

Events:

This Branch does not hold an annual show as such but it does mount a large display in the main floral marquee at the Taunton Flower Show each year; this is usually held during the first week of August. In recent years we have been fortunate enough to receive a Gold Award. There is an opportunity for members to sell surplus plants at this event.

National Show:

With only 4 members from the south-west expressing an interest, ideas for a coach from the Taunton area have been abandoned. It seems that it is still difficult to part members from their cars!
